Visual Diaries

Visual Diaries is a multi-sensual exhibit using photographs and poetry along with a taped commentary that chronicles earth images across varied terrain — beginning with natural settings in New Jersey, then moving to unusual environments as far as New Zealand, South Africa, and the Ural Mountains, Russia.

Wandering has connected the writer to the natural world. Initially, she turned to landscapes for inspiration, only to find that the images culled from an environment actually reflect something back about her inner self.

This one woman exhibit was funded by a grant from the Marshall-Reynolds Foundation. The project’s continuation was made possible through the artist’s 2003 Fellowship for Poetry from New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
